EFFECTIVE NETWORKING: WHY TURNING OFF YOUR TECHNOLOGY CAN HELP YOU GET AHEAD FASTER!

In this age of technology Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter instant responses are what drive our culture. But for students preparing to enter the workforce, technology may actually be hurting more than it’s helping. Candi encourages young people to "hustle" and embrace the ol' school approach to networking  face-to-face communication. With more than two decades of experience building networks and managing employees, Candi teaches young people the gift of small talk, presentation skills, networking, handshakes, how to conduct one-on-one meetings and the art of fostering and growing new relationships.

WHAT MY SPECIAL CHILD TAUGHT ME ABOUT LIVING

As the mother of a child with special needs, Candi speaks with humility, vulnerability and strength about the challenging journey she’s endured raising her son Emerson. Candi has been a leading advocate in the special needs community, launching successful inclusion initiatives and promoting inclusion through educational vehicles and media. An open book when it comes to sharing the raw emotions and obstacles that come along with raising a child with a disability, she has an impactful message for caregivers, teachers, parents and the broader community.
