Her most recent roles include executive positions with ABC Disney (The View, Tamron Hall Show), Harpo Productions (The Oprah Winfrey Show) in addition to CEO of New Chapter Entertainment (Telepictures, BET, Tyler Perry Studios, TV One, PBS). Carter, who is married with two children, is a dedicated advocate for teens with special needs through her non-profit, "We've Got Friends."
